Geraldine Jones Hon SGFA

Biography

Geraldine studied at Hull College of Art and the Royal Academy Schools where her love of drawing came to the forefront of her work and has always remained there.

She works in most painting materials letting the subject matter dictate what should be used and is influenced by the Lincolnshire landscape where she lives. It is the man-made and transient nature of this landscape along with it’s vibrant colour that is of particular interest to her.

A love of art history led her to become the archivist of the Society of Graphic Fine Art in 2005 though she has been a member of the Society since 1992.
