Drawing Days
The Society’s Drawing Days provide a stimulus to drawing and give members an opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss their art practices. Drawing Days are free. They are organized through the year at venues ranging from museums and public galleries, to landscapes and cityscapes.
On a typical day 10 to 12 participants draw in the morning and afternoon, meeting for lunch in between. Selected Drawing Days lead to exhibitions. In 2016, for example, our ‘Location Drawing’ exhibition at Southwark Cathedral Refectory featured art from a day spent drawing in and around the Cathedral and Borough Market.
