JOIN THE SOCIETY OF GRAPHIC FINE ART

The Society of Graphic Fine Art invites membership applications from artists who have had different work accepted separately in at least two of the Society’s Annual Open Exhibitions.

Whilst no formal qualifications are required, applicants will need to show a high level of ability in their finished work, supported by the addition of preparatory material e.g., sketches.

Artists who fulfil the criteria will be invited to apply and to complete an application form together with images of their prescribed portfolios.

The Council will hold a Zoom meeting to make a preliminary selection on applications. Then successful artists will be invited to meet the Council in person with their portfolios. There will be a meeting in London. The Council prefer to meet artists in person and view their original artworks.

Full Members are entitled to use the letters SGFA after their name, and Associate Members the letters ASGFA. Associate Members may be elected to Full Membership, usually after a period of three years.

Members are entitled to use the Society’s letters designate after their names – ASGFA for associate members and SGFA for full members.

Members’ names are listed on the Society website and have a dedicated personal page including one image,

Members are eligible to participate in regional members-only Society exhibitions.
