Angela Malone ASGFA

Biography

Born in New York, Angela now lives on the South East coast, near Margate.

She won her first Art competition aged 8 years, choosing a book by artist Adrian Hill as her prize and her path was set. Angela now has a thriving, multidisciplinary practice which encompasses watercolours, ceramics and stonecarving but acknowledges that constant drawing is the firm foundation of everything that she does.

Angela gained a European MA from EsadHar and TMS in 2021 and a BA from UCA Canterbury in 2010. Her work has been shown in the British Museum, National Museum of Wales, Secession Vienna, France, Germany and the US.

She was an active Committee member of EKAS for many years. Since retiring from teaching to concentrate her efforts on her solo career, she has shown with both the SGFA and the RI and been longlisted for both the Holly Bush Prize and International Watercolour Masters.
