Svetlana Cameron SGFA

Biography

Svetlana Cameron is a classically trained artist dedicated to the revival of traditional fine art. She specialises in commissioned portraiture in the style of classical realism, and her drawings and oil paintings hang in numerous private collections in the UK and around the world.

Svetlana is known for her use of the so-called “three-colour technique”, the combination of charcoal and red and white conté crayons on toned paper, with occasional use of pastel for colour accents. The images are slowly and meticulously built up in layers of translucent veils of colour, resulting in delicate life-like skin tones.
