Having worked in engineering product design for over 30 years I have always drawn, but after a serious illness in 2012 I turned my focus to more creative drawing.

Using ink, coloured pencil and acrylic paint I produce detailed realist drawings usually of buildings, often dark, and almost always deserted.

I am particularly influenced by travelling in America, and by American realist art, notably that of Edward Hopper, also by Film Noir and the films of Alfred Hitchcock.
