Kevin Wright SGFA
Biography
I work mainly in the medium of printmaking, especially working with etching and aquatint. My print studio is in South Devon. I have long been interested in the techniques of etching and aquatint and originally studied this at Goldsmiths’ College, London. I have a Masters Degree in Art & Design (Goldsmiths’ College) and Masters Degree in the History of Art (Birkbeck College).
My subject matter encompasses the landscape and coastline of Devon and also cities such as Venice and London.
My work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal West of England Academy, the Barbican Gallery, the Medici Society, the Oxo Tower Gallery, the National Theatre Foyer and a number of other galleries and locations in the UK and Europe.
As well as being an Associate of the Society of Graphic Fine Art, I am a member of Devon Guild of Craftsmen, an Associate member of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts and a member of Southbank Printmakers, London.
