Kaye Hodges joined the SGFG in 2017, as an associate member. She has always had an
interest in expressing her art through drawing and was delighted to be accepted to join the
group.

Kaye finds the human form most inspirational and she tries to draw from life as much as she
can. Portraiture is her true passion, she is continually striving to capture the essence of the
character before her, as it is the interaction of the viewer and the person painted or drawn,
that she finds most intriguing. To get some sense of interaction between the two is her ideal
goal in a portrait.
