Katya is a self-taught, full time artist specialising in portraits, and enjoys fusing the style of classical portraiture with modern art and abstract expression.

Aged 17, she was awarded first prize by Turner Prize winner Grenville Davey at the ‘Essex Schools Showcase for the Arts’.

Her portrait work has been shortlisted for art prizes such as the Lynn Painter Stainers Prize, Visual Arts Open, and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.

She has exhibited work at private buyers’ exhibitions for The Sherwin Gallery, the SGFA Centenary Exhibition at the Menier Gallery, and the SGFA exhibitions at Mall Galleries.
