Graham Lain SGFA
Biography
Graham Lain, a retired architectural technician, has painted and drawn since childhood and regards himself as an illustrator who loves to recreate the landscape and buildings of his native county, Norfolk. He also creates art inspired by trips to other locations at home and abroad. As well as creating original works, Graham produces limited editions and greetings cards with images taken from his local paintings and drawings.
Graham was born in Wymondham, Norfolk and has lived within or close to the town all his life. He has one grown-up daughter and lives with his wife Betty at Spooner Row, a small hamlet within the parish of Wymondham. He holds his own one-man exhibition every two years in the village hall of the adjoining parish of Ashwellthorpe, and exhibits at other local venues and galleries.
