Emma Price ASGFA

Biography 

Emma lives and works in Surrey. Initially undertaking a Foundation Fine Art Degree, majoring in drawing and photography; Emma went on to complete a Bachelor of Graphic Design. She has had a successful career both in Sydney and London as a magazine Art Director and Creative Director. In 2019 Emma left the confines of the publishing world behind to pursue her fine arts career. Initially workig as a realism pencil artist, Emma is presently exploring abstract and semi- abstract painting; both her drawing and painting is informed by our natural world, creating and evoking drama through a strong sense of light and drama.

Notable successes include being a category winner (Earth’s Wild Beauty) at the prestigious David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation Wildlife Artist of the Year 2024; she was Highly Commended in 2023, and a finalist in 2021; the Society of Graphic Fine Art and the Society of Women Artists ~ all exhibiting at the Mall Galleries, London. She was shortlisted for the Women in Art Prize 2023. Her works are held in private collections in Australia, Asia, Europe and the UK.
