Biography
David Brooke was born in Somerset but now lives in Dorset. He is a Past President of the Society of Graphic Fine Art, and also a member of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts, the National Acrylic Painters’ Association, the Society for Art of Imagination and the Bath Society of Artists. His pen and ink drawings are bold and strongly designed. Subjects sometimes invoke the feel of folk tales, on other occasions they are more homely. There is often something of a humorous or quirky nature about his work. David’s work is always produced from his imagination.
