Colette Lilley ASGFA

Biography 

I am a drawing artist based in Liverpool, working primarily with biro on paper. Through grid-based portrait drawings, I explore perception, time and the act of looking. Each drawing is developed square by square, slowing visual recognition and encouraging sustained attention.

I hold an MA in Art and Design Practice from Loughborough University and exhibit nationally. My work has been shown at the Mall Galleries, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Royal West of England Academy, the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and Ferens Art Gallery, Hull.
